Weston-Super-Mare Somerset. Tel 01934 632850 Chalice Morris Men consist of 5
musicians and 15 dancers. Most of our dances are Cotswold Morris but we do
occasionally venture into Border Morris. We wear a traditional kit of white
shirt and trousers with black shoes and red and blue baldricks, a form of
Corscombe Dorset. We are known as a border morris dance team
(morris dances from three counties), which have their roots in the traditional
dances as collected in the early years of the twentieth century who
traditionally danced with the winter. We attend all types of events all year
Exeter Devon. Appalachian clogging evolved from step dancing
taken to the United States by English and Irish settlers, which became
influenced by the music and rhythms of native American Indian and African
dancers. Available for indoor and outdoor performances at all types of events

mostly Cotswold traditions but also dances from Plymouth, including the use of
cutlasses. Our annual Morris programme encompasses fairs, carnivals, folk
festivals, private functions and parties and evening displays at friendly inns

lively mixed Border Morris side, based at St. Dominick, which is in the
beautiful Tamar Valley, on the sunny Cornwall side. We perform both traditional

Plymouth Devon. Tel 01752 299700 Dartmoor Border Morris men perform
traditional border dances from the counties along the English-Welsh border and a
few local Devon ones as well. The side members include many talented musicians
and performers. A seasonal Mummers Play has also become a firm favourite.
Shepton Mallet Somerset. Tel 01373 812227 Beetlecrushers are a
mixed side who perform traditional English, Welsh and Scottish clog dances, as
well as French-Canadian and Cape Breton steps. We are available for all types of
events including displays, talks and workshops, and welcome enquires for
Taunton Somerset. Founded in 1973 and danced out for the first
time on July 15th 1974. We are a revival side dancing tradition in Taunton.
Maybe we could pay an evening visit to your village on our club night? We don't
have to dance outside a pub, a village green or village fete can be just as
welcoming a venue.
Somerton Somerset. We are a mixed Morris side and we dance
English Cotswold Morris dances from the villages or "traditions" of Wayford,
Hinton-in-the-Hedges, Ilmington, Bampton and Wells. During the summer months we
can be seen dancing most Tuesday evenings somewhere and appear at local events,
fetes and fayres.
Yeovil Somerset. We are an all male morris dancing side who
perform a selection of dances in the Cotswold tradition from the
villages of Adderbury, Bledington, and Headington. The dancing is usually
followed by a lively music session with comic songs and tunes. The team may be
hired (at modest rates) for fetes and social occasions.
