It all started in the early 1970's when a group of local farmers were sitting in the pub talking about old tractors and machinery. We then decided to dig out the old tractors and restore back to life, where we now display at county shows & local events.
We are a marching band and were formed over 40 years ago. The band is made up of a marching brass line, a marching percussion section, a tuned percussion section and a colourguard which involves dance and flag work. Why not book us for your next event.
We perform at a wide variety of local events in our brightly coloured costumes and the footwear is clogs with irons nailed to soles & heels which accentuate the rhythm of the music and dancing. Dances are researched & collected from the Lancashire Plain.
We offer a full risk assessment service to enable you to comply with regulations for running your exhibition, festival and indoor or outdoor events. As well as advice and training we have an extensive range of fire equipment to hire. For details call us.
We are a mixed morris side of dances, and we dance Cotswold Morris, usually the Adderbury and Bampton traditions with the odd Fieldtown thrown in. We look to attend events and entertain your guests with bells and hankies, whilst keeping tradition alive.
The concert band consists of around thirty-five regular members and our concerts take place in a wide variety of venues to parks, shopping centres to historic castles. Many of our concerts are in aid of local charities. Contact us for band availability.
