It is hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner, The year is literally flying by for us (if you excuse the pun), with the summer holidays behind us it give us the chance to tell the world about some of the recent changes here at Millets Falconry.

We are pleased to announce and introduce two new members of staff: Luke Mammatt Luke joined the team at the start of the summer and brings a vast amount of knowledge but a real honest love for working with birds of prey, and proving very popular with visitors.
We introduced an apprentice position taken up by Joe Townsend and he is proving to be not only incredibly hard working and determined to learn but has done the most amazing job of training his first bird, a female Lanner falcon called Keira.

We have also had the most amazingly busy year with new birds joining the centre, to be honest too many to list you will have to visit to appreciate them all, we now boast a collection of over 80 birds of prey including two new eagles in the form of Anna the Golden Eagle to Bella-Grace our young Bald Eagle as well as an adorable trio of red footed falcons and even a young white faced owl called Optimus Prime (the first owl that we have ever bred).
