We are a living history society portraying ordinary life in Anglo-Saxon England, extending into what is now Southern Scotland. Anything from a single costumed interpreter for talks or demonstrations, a tented encampment showing the life of a Thegn's retinue and demonstrate the weaponry and skills of warriors.

We are a friendly group and our raison d’etre was to create an authentic representation of a 15th century mercenary fighting group. In Britain mercenary groups were also employed in various battles including War of the Roses. We attend events giving battle demonstrations and displays of period weapons and armour.

We have a wide variety of characters from Greek hoplites, Persian forces, The Scythians and civilians giving demonstrations for historical school education visits, TV and film.
