4 Commando are a group who are interested in the Second World War 1939-45. We collect the uniforms of the Army Commandos and spend our weekends attending 1940's re-enactment events up and down the country, demonstrating and explaining about the uniforms and kit to the general public.

JOHN LILBURNE'S REGIMENT OF FOOTE

Burnley Lancashire. A parliamentarian regiment experienced in re-enactments of the C17th. The regiment has a variety of soldiers from, pikemen, musketeers both supported by ensigns, drummers, musicians and water-carriers, plus non-field personnel forming the civilians living history area.

Lancashire Tel 01253 298 131 We are a re-enactment Parliamentarian regiment and re-enact battles and scenes from the English Civil War (1642 -1651). We demonstrate and fight with pike, musket, and our artillery is the 'Jenni' a 4 inch light cannon that is noisy, dirty and a lot of fun for all.
