HISTORICAL RE-ENACTMENT DISPLAY GROUPS

Greater Manchester. Ydalir Vikings attend events of all sizes from small historical re-enactments and displays involving a few craft demonstrations and some single combats, to large events drawing participants from across the country with dozens of living history units and full scale battles involving several hundred combatants.

Brighouse West Yorkshire. Opportunity to experience 'living history' in the form of battles, displays of period medical techniques, authentic camps, civilian life, military drill and the portrayal of period events. We aim to give an exciting, colourful, noisy spectacle that we hope is enjoyable and informative.

Leeds West Yorkshire. We are a group of enthusiasts who strive to re-enact the period of the English Civil War, portraying the struggles the country and its people went through during the mid 17th Century. We display at events putting on skirmishes and living history displays. Please email us your event details.

Burnley Lancashire. A parliamentarian regiment experienced in re-enactments of the C17th. The regiment has a variety of soldiers from, pikemen, musketeers both supported by ensigns, drummers, musicians and water-carriers, plus non-field personnel forming the civilians living history area.

Lancashire Tel 01253 298 131 The Earl of Manchester's Regiment of Foote are a re-enactment parliamentarian regiment and re-enact battles and scenes from the English Civil War (1642 -1651). We demonstrate and fight with pike, musket, and our artillery is the 'Jenni' a 4 inch light cannon that is noisy, dirty and a lot of fun for all.

Barnsley South Yorkshire. Portraying the small household of Sir John Savile in the period 1450 - 1500 with our members engaged in a wide variety of activities portraying a range of medieval crafts and roles including a blacksmith, bowyer, willow worker, scribe, apothecary, glassworker, cartographer, musician and a fletcher.

Sheffield West Yorkshire. Knights In Battle Medieval Society is a group specialising in bringing medieval history to life. We also stage a 13th Century Foot Tournament between chain mail armoured knights. Our goal is to produce an excellent appearance and a high quality of entertainment at all events.

We can provide a complete period camp site where you can sample Napoleonic recipes, try on items of uniform and handle weapons.
