MAIN ARENA DISPLAYS - ATTRACTIONS

Introduction
From parading prized livestock and farm animals to demonstrating working vintage steam engines and motorcycle stunt teams, the one thing that all events large or small should provide is a centrally positioned area to demonstrate and show off key attractions and entertainment. A good line up of main arena displays, demonstrations, entertainment and attractions are what many events, fetes and county shows are based around and what makes the event or show more appealing and marketable to potential event goers.

Making the best use of
Centrally positioned and carefully chosen arena attractions to complement your event will give your event or show a great focal point. Try to provide a steady uninterrupted mixture of activities for your visitors to watch. There are a wide range of attractions from motorcycle display teams, horse shows, medieval jousting to birds of prey demonstrations and working military vehicles combined with local displays and attractions make for a great day.
How many do I need?
The simplest way to work out how many main arena attractions you will need is to first workout how many hours you are looking to provide event goers with entertainment. Allowing for (if needed) refreshment and lunch time breaks (about two hours in total) divide the remaining time by thirty minutes per item to give a rough idea of the amount of available slots then adjust the programme of attractions to allow for longer or shorter ones.
Booking suggestions
Many display groups and entertainment are often booked many months or even years in advance and since main arena displays and attractions are what your event will be based around you will need to make booking enquiries early on in your event planning, as soon as you have decided that type of main arena attractions you will be having. Fees. Usually based upon the length of performances and discussed as per your requirements.
Regulations, insurance and other useful notes
Insurance. All attraction and display businesses must have public liability insurance cover. Tip. Try to show your main No1 attraction or display several times throughout the day to give all your event visitors opportunity to see or watch it.
