COUNTYFETES ... NEWSLETTER FOR EVENT AND FUNCTION ORGANISERS
Link to www.aerosuperbatics.com
Welcome to this edition of our newsletter focusing on spring events.
With the Royal wedding, Easter and May bank holiday fast approaching many of you are probably finishing off organising your event or street party. Easter hols usually signals that the events season is well and truly underway and with it being later this year the weather should hopefully be better. May events are traditionally associated with Morris dancing, however more organisers are booking Morris dancers all year round at events and functions, weddings etc. Take a look at our selection of Morris groups below for some inspiration.
Raggie Morrisons - Dancers Required (must be able to skip)
Est in 1994 and named after an old draper’s shop we are a small very happy group who dance the North West Morris and Garland dances. Currently we are the only team in Scotland dancing in this tradition. We dance out on festival Days, at Castles, Galas, Functions, or where-ever we are asked within reason.

The Cambridge Morris Men - Mostly at (or in) Pubs
Founded in the 1920s we are one of the oldest revival sides in the country. In the early days we toured the Cotswold villages and noted down many dances which would have been lost. Our season begins with a whole day tour on the last Saturday in April and through the summer we dance out every week.

Cardiff Ladies Morris - Not a Serious Bunch of Ladies
We like to put on a varied show of Morris Dancing and entertain the public. Our Llareggub tradition was created by the ladies of Cardiff and is solely danced by us. We don't take ourselves too seriously - read Llareggub backwards! Other dances in our repertoire originate from the Cotswolds and the Welsh Borders.
