Who are we?
Since our foundation in 1990 we have aimed to use our expertise to create, produce and help make unforgettable events happen. From music and performance programming to stage hire, project management and site installations we have years of experience.
Based in Norwich, and working across the east of England and London we have been offering major outdoor and event production management, services and equipment hire for over 30 years. Our people are vital to our services and we can work alongside your team to supply you with a wide range of equipment whether from single items to stages, bespoke structures, sound, light and SFX to screens, marquees, installations, drapes and bars. Providing power, distribution bespoke scaffold structures are all part of what we do to help make your event happen.
Events
We have been creating and programming our own events working with some of the UK’s top dance music performers and comedians in venues across Norwich and Norfolk, alongside the annual Comedy Festival and one of the first UK COVID compliant festivals and outdoor events Summertime Social.
Your event’s success is as important to us as it is to you. From structures and staging, sound, AV, marquees, flooring, track way, crowd barriers to screens, outdoor cinema, lighting, festoon and full power distribution you rely on all your suppliers to get things right. We can provide all or one of these service from our wide range of equipment to full production service to work with you to make your event a success
FESTIVALS
We work with a wide range of festivals providing anything from stages, structures to festoon lighting and sound equipment. We have been working in outdoor festival events for over twenty years from small bespoke festivals to larger outdoor events for 10,000+ people. We can provide a range of services from production, project and event management to equipment hire.
COMMUNITY
Ideal events specialise in working alongside local authorities and community organisations to support a whole range of annual community events. From supplying equipment to supporting programming we have helped make hundreds of events happen. We work with you from a full production service to completion or we can help you pre-plan with our event consultancy and event management services which can involve licensing.
EXPERIENTIAL - SOCIALLY DISTANCED EVENTS
Alongside enabling other organisations events happen we produce and present a series of our own indoor and outdoor events from outdoor Cinemas, Drive-Ins, live music and performance events and the first socially distance festival and outdoor season in 2020 with Summertime Social*(*link to festivals). Over 30,000 people attend our events each year
CONSULTANCY
Ideal Events consultancy services works with a wide range of clients who manage their own events but need help with their planning and specialist outdoor equipment. This can be from designing and building large bespoke structures working with our temporary structure and staging company (link to modular access) to producing visuals and projections for large buildings. Clients for this service have included National Scouts Association, University of East Anglia, Norwich Theatre Royal and Norfolk Showground.
