We are Manaraefan Viking & Anglo-Saxon re-enactment group based in Hampshire & Wiltshire

Based in Wiltshire, Hampshire and surrounding areas, we are Manaraefan Reenactment Group specialising in Viking and Anglo Saxon historical periods. Our time period covers 794AD, from the first raids at Lindisfarne, up until the Battle of Hastings in 1066AD.

Founded in 1994, Manaraefan is a re-enactment group focused on recreating a Viking port village based in Hamwic, in the Kingdom of Wessex. We put on events for the public, often including a living history setup that recreates a traditional Viking camp during a war campaign. Events also include weapons displays and the public favourite, large scale Viking
re-enactment battles.

Manaraefan are members of a larger national re-enactment society 'The Vikings' and take part in re-enactment events throughout the United Kingdom and abroad.

If you are interested in joining Manaraefan or would like to book us for a re-enactment event please contact us.
