We are often asked about how and where to
position mobile caterers and ice cream sellers. This is a tricky question to
answer as a balance has to made between the organiser's event requirements and
the caterers need to ensure that they are busy enough to cover all pitch
expenses and make a profit. |
|
Some organiser's opt to place all their
catering together in a "food court" with scattered coffee and ice cream sellers,
others choose to position caterers close to where key activities are taking place
giving easy access to snacks and refreshment during interludes. Individual
organiser's and caterers will each have their own siting preferences, so close
discussion will be required. |

For me the Olympic hype has all been a bit dead pan until I heard that the
opening ceremony will feature a mock up of Glastonbury Tor. That sounds good and
more exciting I thought, until my clever wife pointed out that I can see that every day of
the week from our upstairs back bedroom window! |
