Providing enough amusements to keep young children amused is very often
considered as a low priority event requirement or is completely overlooked. Keeping
bored grumpy children amused for any length of time can be a daunting prospect
for parents let alone the event organiser. Keeping the children happy keeps the
parents happy, happy parents will stay longer and hopefully spend more
using other event services and filling

A good event organiser will recognise the value of keeping money spending parents at their event for the whole
day rather than seeing them dragged away from an otherwise good event due to a lack of children's amusements. |

So what sort of children's amusements should I
provide at my event? Firstly think about your event and the target audience you
are hoping to attract.
Secondly will your event goers bring children to the
event in large or small numbers. Thirdly how much space will you have available
for amusements. |

Small merry-go-round rides can be great for
toddlers, inflatable amusements and trailer trampolines are very popular. If you
