essential part of planning your event. Having the right amount of hand wash
units placed near areas where animals may be handled, shower units near to
camping or overnight stay areas and importantly easily accessible disabled
toilet units should always be included in your event sanitation planning. |
Rather than having your event goers wandering around looking and asking for toilets,
clearly signpost where key facilities are located. Why not
have sign posts erected at the corners of your main arena area. With a bit of
thought they could be used to point visitors to key areas i.e. Toilets, First Aid CP etc. |

I expect most of you are well into planning
your events and celebrations for the Queens
Diamond Jubilee on June 5th or over
that extended
bank holiday
weekend.
However if you have not yet started you still have quite a few weeks to get
organised and to book event services and arena attractions. |
If you are thinking about organising a small
street party get in touch with your
local council as soon as possible who will
help and advise. Any event larger than a few local residents should have the
normal event organising rules applied, risk assessment, liability insurance,
entertainment licence etc. |
