COUNTYFETES ... NEWSLETTER FOR EVENT AND FUNCTION ORGANISERS |

Welcome to our first edition of our newsletter for 2010 What a cold start to 2010, we even had a good few inches of snow cover here in
Somerset (it normally misses us and just rains). This time last year we were all
making predictions about the possible effects that the recession will have on
the events industry as a whole, many of which were pretty close to the mark.
However we need to put last year and the recession behind us and start looking
forward and thinking more positively about the coming events season.

Commemorative themed street parties and events What we all need is a
great British mood changing community event for every one to participate in and
look forward to. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the Allied victory in
Europe in 1945, VE Day and the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain allied
air campaign in 1940. This is a great opportunity for large and small
community event organisers to have a street party or dance.

Marquee hire for events and also private functions
Holding a function or party at home sounds like a great idea until you start
looking at the indoor space you have available. Marquees offer a great solution
provided that you have a bit of outdoor space, marquees can be erected adjoining
existing properties to make a fantastic wedding party room.

Mobile licensed bar services for events and private functions
Hot summer events would not be the same without an ice cold glass of your
favourite tipple. Most mobile bar providers will arrange all the licensing and
can usually cater for outdoor events, undercover functions or parties. From
exotic cocktails and wine bars to cider and draught beers there's a mobile bar
for all.
