Welcome to this issue of our newsletter.
The summer events season is drawing to an end with some comments coming our
way from several event organisers about how this summer has been a very mixed
picture with some holding very successful or better events and other events
being a complete washout. However nobody has mentioned any real noticeable
effect from the economic downturn with visitor numbers about the same as other
years. Traders views and comments have also been very much inline with the
overall picture so hopefully this Autumn's events should be the same as usual. |

SUPPORTING CHARITIES AND CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS |

Majorettes, marching bands and charity stalls. Local charities
and local groups are what make local events and provide a valuable contribution
to local communities. Many charities and organisations often tell us they would love to be invited into more events but due to the limited funds that they have available find it very difficult to publicise the fact. Here at
