Rather than have your visitors wander in and out of your event all over the event boundary, set up a specific entry and exit point and rope off remaining areas. Using an open ended rectangle marquee or structure rope off down the middle inside, visitors entry one side and exit the other side. Extra lanes can be added if needed and opened up for quick exit at the end of the day.
