| Making the best use of |

inflatable amusements and inflatable games will require a slightly larger area
so you may need to provide a bigger space depending upon the size of inflatable
amusement you hire. In addition to the area for the inflatable amusement don't
forget to provide enough room for spectators to watch the fun, room for people
to queue for a turn and room for the amusement operator to keep associated
equipment and accessories. |

| How many do I need? |
| Determining how many inflatables to book for your event or function depends
largely upon the amount of people you anticipate will attend. Your inflatable
hire operator will be able to advise you more accurately on how many inflatable
amusements will be needed. However a good point to remember is that certain
amusements will have age restrictions and limits to the amount of people on the
inflatable amusement at any one time. |

| Booking suggestions |
| Many
inflatable amusement games hire operators are usually available at fairly short
notice for private party and function hire however some operators will require a
little bit more notice if you are holding a large event and require several
inflatable amusements or games. Fees. A charge is usually made for
private party hire by the operator, pitch fees at events are normally negotiated
between the amusement operator and organisers. |

| Regulations, insurance and other useful notes |
|
Insurance. Every
inflatable amusements hire operator is required by law to have public liability
insurance cover. PIPA scheme: All inflatable play equipment that falls within
the scope of the scheme should carry a PIPA tag and be listed in their database.
The scheme is to show that the inflatable has been safety inspected annually.
The PIPA scheme is supported by the industry and developed in partnership with
the Health and Safety Executive. |
